Bolt Threading Machine

Industrial Machinery Corporation (IMC) manufactures Bolt Threading Machines in Ludhiana, India for cutting accurate external threads on bolts, studs, foundation bolts, anchor bolts and similar cylindrical components. The job remains securely clamped while a rotating die head fitted with suitable tangential chasers cuts the required thread.

IMC offers bed-type and pillar-type configurations covering stored diameter ranges from approximately 6 mm to 100 mm. Machine selection depends on bolt diameter, material grade, thread standard, pitch or TPI, thread length and required production rate.

How the Bolt Threading Machine Works

The bolt remains stationary in the clamping system while the die head rotates. HSS tangential chasers progressively remove material to generate the thread. The selected die head and chaser profile determine the thread range and standard.

The stored product data lists BSP, Metric, BSPT, NPT, UNF, UNC, BSW and ACME thread forms. Exact availability must be confirmed against the bolt size, material and tooling.
